15 Best All-Inclusive Resorts in the World for Families

As a global traveler, I have always sought to give my children the gift of a global perspective. Although traveling with five children isn’t always easy, I cherish every vacation we take together and delight in teaching them about different cultures and viewpoints through firsthand experience.

If you’re eager to expand your family’s horizons, take your next vacation off the beaten path. Staying at an all-inclusive resort will help massively in your vacation planning, as you will have activities, amenities, food, and entertainment available.

Narrowing down your choices when you can travel the globe is admittedly challenging. I put together this guide to the 15 best all-inclusive family resorts worldwide. I hope it helps you find somewhere awesome and new to travel!

1. Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya

Cancun, Mexico

The adventure of a lifetime is calling at the Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya, a mecca for children in Mexico.

It’s Nick-themed everything here, from the luxury accommodations to the lounges and entertainment. The kids will be in heaven, especially if you have little ones.

Any rooms are darling, but if it’s available, I recommend booking the Pineapple Suite. This famous suite is designed after SpongeBob SquarePants’s dwelling on the eponymous television cartoon.

The exterior looks like the real pineapple that dwells at the bottom of Bikini Bottom, but inside, it’s far nicer than you could ever imagine. The Pineapple Suite is 3,000 square feet for five children and two adults or five adults.

The Master Suite boasts a spa-designed bathroom and king-sized bed. A double bedroom includes dual queen-sized beds and its own bathroom. Dining and living spaces include luxe amenities like a six-person dining table, while the ocean-front terrace is more than 700 square feet.

As a Karisma resort, Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya knows a thing or two about gourmet dining. Your Karsima Gourmet Inclusive Experience includes 24-hour room service and dining at the resort’s six restaurants.

The Pajama Jam Character Dinner with Patrick and SpongeBob will be a dream come true for your little ones. The world cuisine and adult atmosphere of the Yacht Club is a delightful spot for dining.

The kids will also love dining at Good Burger, eating Italian at Piazza (that includes pizza, don’t you worry), or having market cuisine at the SpongeBob-themed Le Spatula. The Nick Bistro serves breakfast and lunch, and the Bikini Bottom Bar is a wellness bar with beachy vibes.

Your stay includes oodles of entertainment, Nick-style. Besides the Pajama Jam Character Dinner, prepare to enjoy a Main Stage interactive game where someone (you never know who) will get slimed for their troubles.

Experience the VIP life at the Orange Carpet at Plaza Orange experience, meet costumed characters, and play all day at the Aqua Nick at Soak Summit, the resort’s famous water park.
