The MM1205 from Menlo Micro is a 6-channel SPST Signal Relay that operates from DC to 3 GHz. This switch allows users to implement different signal topologies such as dual SP3T, triple SP2T, or a 2 x 3 matrix. It can handle a CW input power of up to 25 W (per channel) and a peak input power of less than 200 W per channel. Each channel provides low ON-state contact resistance and insertion loss and high OFF-state isolation. It provides an input-to-output OFF-state isolation of 17 dB (at 3 GHz) and has an ON-state insertion loss of 0.5 dB (at 3 GHz). It includes a driver and control logic circuit with integrated SPI and GPIO serial interfaces for remote control. This SPST switch can daisy-chain multiple devices together and allows each channel to be individually controlled.
The MM1205 requires a DC supply of 3.3 V and 5 V and uses a built-in charge pump to drive the gate. It is available in a land grid array (LGA) package that measures 8 x 8 mm and is designed for signal-switching applications for DC, analog, and RF circuits. This signal relay is ideal for high-power tunable replacement resonators/filters, high-density switch matrices, broadband power amplifier impedance matching, and automated test and measurement applications.
