EIPA Awarded Framework Service Contract for training on Cohesion policy by DG REGIO

News

The European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) is honoured to announce that, together with the Lithuanian Central Project Management Agency as a consortium partner, we have been awarded the Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO)’s Framework Service Contract to provide training events for national and regional authorities responsible for the management of Cohesion policy programmes.

We are pleased that, for the third time in a row, we will continue to play a pivotal role in supporting Member States as they navigate the complex regulatory requirements of Cohesion policy programmes. These training events will focus on various crucial aspects, most notably:

  • programme implementation;
  • state aid;
  • strategic public procurement;
  • fraud and corruption prevention;
  • and administrative capacity building.

The training events are designed to empower national and regional authorities responsible for managing Cohesion policy programmes, ensuring that they can efficiently and effectively implement these policies, uphold regulatory standards, and promote good governance practices.

We are honoured to be entrusted by DG REGIO once more to continue our mission of assisting public administrations with vital reforms, training, and technical assistance. Our commitment to enhancing administrative capacity and ensuring the proper utilisation of EU funds remains steadfast. – Marco Ongaro, Director-General at EIPA

Our long-standing experience in providing high-quality training and technical support to public administrations positions us as a key partner in achieving the European Union’s regional and urban development objectives. Our selection by DG REGIO reflects our dedication to strengthening the administrative capabilities of EU Member States, ultimately contributing to the effective and transparent management of Cohesion policy programmes.

We express our gratitude to our network of member state administrations for their efforts in sharing best practices related to:

  • Good procurement practices in Belgium
  • Fraud prevention experiences in Bulgaria
  • State aid compliance in France
  • Experience in green sustainable infrastructure in the Netherlands

We look forward to seeing managing and audit authorities as well as accounting professionals managing ERDF/CF/ESF+ in the upcoming training events that will be relaunched soon.
