  • West Chester Tree Lighting Friday, December 3, 2021 6:45 PM – 8 PM “Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Historic Chester County Courthouse (2 N. High St.) including live music from West Chester University Marching Band, Gospel Choir and acapella Group Under A Rest as well as the West Chester Area School District Honors Choir. Keep an eye out for the big guy in a red suit, as well as iconic images from holidays past projected on borough buildings. In addition to the traditional decorations, the tree is featuring over 70 handmade ornaments created by local non-profits and businesses in Chester County. Miss Pennsylvania Meghan Sinisi, will also be in attendance! This is First Friday in the borough and stores will be open late.   • Prospect Park Tree Lighting at Park Square, Prospect Park Friday, December 3rd 7 PM “The Prospect Park Beautification Committee’s Tree Lighting is back! The Interboro High School Choir will be there and so will Santa to help light the tree. Due to covid concerns there will not be pictures with Santa after the tree lighting this year, but we encourage you to take your own family photos at the memorial bench in front of the tree after the lighting.
    Cookies and hot chocolate will be available after the tree is lit.
    There will also be a 50-50.
