Nicolas Cage reveals what scares him most about Australia as he arrives in Perth with wife Riko and baby girl
Nicolas Cage arrived in Perth, Western Australia, on Monday, ahead of shooting his new film in the region.
The Hollywood superstar had his daughter, August, with him as he made his way through the airport with his wife, Riko Shibata, in tow.
The 59-year-old and his 28-year-old partner are Down Under while Cage shoots his latest film, The Surfer, in Margaret River.
Asked whether he'd be doing any surfing during his trip, the actor said he probably wouldn't as he feared the country's 'great white sharks'.
'I kind of want to stick around for my little one!' he joked, explaining why he'd probably be avoiding the water.

Nic and his wife made a stop in Sydney on Sunday before they headed to the other side of the country for the shoot.
The star dressed comfortably in a black velour tracksuit under which he had on a simple white T-shirt.
He finished his ensemble with a pair of designer sunglasses and black suede cowboy boots.
Riko meanwhile was chic in a floral, cropped jacket and white trousers as well as chunky boots.

The Japanese beauty appeared to go makeup free for her flight and wore her hair down around her face.
She carried the couple's baby daughter while Nic wheeled along a large silver suitcase through the terminal.

Nic will be shooting The Surfer, a psychological thriller, in Western Australia's most famous surfing and wine region.
