Married at First Sight UK's Laura suggests a future with husband Arthur as she teases their Christmas plans

Married at First Sight UK's Laura Vaughan has hinted that she is still in a relationship with husband Arthur Poremba.

The finance manager, 34, was matched with the Polish tennis coach, also 34, during the opening episode of the eighth series.

The couple got off to a rough start after Laura complained that Arthur was not her type and said she felt let down.

She insisted her 'very firm criteria has not been met', while she later said in a piece to camera that Arthur is not as 'posh' as her usual type.

Laura explained: 'He is definitely an attractive guy for sure. But he doesn't look like a Chelsea boy. I love a posh accent. Very firm criteria has not been met.'

She was also angered by Arthur's decision to pull his vows directly from the internet, claiming his English was not up to scratch for him to write them himself.

However, the couple managed to work through their issues and work on their marriage together.

Despite all the couples on the show being under strict guidelines from producers to keep the outcome of their marriage experiments under wraps, Laura has dropped a big clue about her and Arthur's relationship.

Speaking to OK! magazine, she teased that the pair were still going strong as she shared their Christmas plans.

She said she hoped to visit Arthur’s home country of Poland to experience his culture and to share their first Christmas together.

Laura said: 'We’ve spoken about going to Poland, and just immersing myself in the first 15-16 years of his life.

'I think it'd be nice and cosy and the weather would be cold and we might get some snow - I think that’d be cool.'

She added: 'And then maybe coming back here and doing a traditional like Christmas market.'

It comes after Laura was left in tears after fellow contestant Luke Worley accused her of being a gold digger.

Laura shut him down and said: 'I have never once in my life needed a man to pay for anything. It was f***ing painful to hear when I have actually been used in the past for that myself.

'I actually paid for my last wedding, so if I am a gold digger then I am definitely doing it wrong.'

Speaking to the experts about the comments, she said: 'I just think it's really lazy to label a woman a gold digger. I think it's offensive and I feel like I've got a lot of heat from Luke.

'Financial things are so sensitive to me because I inherited my money from my dad. My dad is no longer with me. So to be accused of looking for money in another man is so upsetting.

'It's just such a lazy narrative to call a woman who is strong, intelligent and speaks a certain way 'stuck up', and I'm bored of it. I'm bored of having to try and prove people wrong just based on how I talk.'
