If you were looking for cottages like Demelza's Den, how about trying these:

Formerly an Old Casting House, this magnificent and contemporary home is situated within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Perran Foundry, conveniently located in an easily accessible position off the A39 but yet just a short drive away from the picture perfect Restronguet Creek and gorgeous villages of Mylor, Flushing and Devoran. The stunning ancient woodland of Devichoys is on your doorstep, discover beautiful old bridges that carry you across trickling streams, rich in history. Perhaps finish your day with a meal at the pub across the road before a short stroll back to your pretty palace.

A beautiful old mill marks the spot for Demelza's Den; ascend the three steps to the front entrance or perhaps enter through the side door (also with three steps). Open up the big doors and step inside where a large open plan space welcomes you in. You will find a gorgeous and fabulously appointed sitting-area, dining-area and kitchen complete with breakfast-bar. There is a big comfy corner sofa and 65'' Smart TV, perfect for snuggling down with your family or friends after a wonderful day exploring the area. The kitchen has a luxury feel, it is so well-equipped with everything you need. The dining-table is beautiful and bespoke and can seat up to eight guests, plus a further three at the breakfast-bar - perfect for entertaining over a delectable evening supper! There is also a handy WC on the ground floor. Please note there is one step up from the sitting area to the kitchen/dining area.

Industry marries cinematic experience in the second sitting-room, situated on the first floor. Lucky guests can spread out in front of the 65'' Smart TV on the Italian leather sofas. A highly diverse space, the second sitting-room also has a desk workspace if required, and also yoga equipment for those wanting to forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There is even a selection of books and toys for further entertainment. You will also find bedroom one on the first floor, gorgeous and spacious with luxury linen and a handy shower-room with WC and basin just next door.

Carry on up to the next flight of stairs to the second floor, which boasts penthouse vibes. Up here you will find another beautiful and spacious bedroom with a feature window that overlooks the rest of the complex. There is a family bathroom on this floor which is parallel to a little single room that accesses the private balcony (please keep the sliding doors locked at all times if you have a child in your party and only ever let children on the balcony when attended by a responsible adult). Enjoy your morning coffee on the bistro table and listen to the birdsong as you plan your day ahead. The balcony overlooks the communal lawn area which is open for all at Perran Foundry to enjoy, although it usually is very quiet.
