Constantin Florea @Watcher1924 - The dates are correctly assigned to the comments. The way it works is that the comments for a normally discounted deal (24/48/72 hour deal) are grouped together and when the deal ends they will be hidden until you click the Expand All link. However the comments for the EveryDay deal will appear without having to click on the Expand All link. The last 5 comments which appear on the page belong to the EveryDay deal which was active when the discounted deal was not active.

pestoking Why do you need an uninstaller when Windows has one already built in? If you use Windows long enough, you know that most uninstall routines don't remove everything. Some applications install super hidden, encrypted files as part of normal operations. But other apps may install components that conflict with your system and cause crashes or, worse, install malware, exploits and hacks that are not detectable by anit-virus and anti-malware programs. How do you get rid of that stuff?

I tested Revo with an app that installs hidden/encrypted code that is not stored in the registry or any common folder location, i.e. undetectable by ANY standard file or text search means. Normal Windows install does not remove this code. Revo apparently "traced" or logged every bit of data installed. Using Revo to then uninstall using the log of the install, I verified that the hidden code was removed during the re-install of the app.

If you install a lot of apps and want to make sure every lost drop is removed during uninstall, you probably should consider Revo.

Matt B I had ValueApps installed in my Win 7 and couldn't get rid of it for months. It kept hijacking my browser every time I tried to go to a website. I got this Revo Unistaller after I talked to a Window's technician about it and I was able to finally get rid of the pesky malware.

Gunderic Hagen I used this programs but did not help with a particular app I wanted to uninstall. I contacted support and they tried to help me, to no avail. The other problem that I've found is that, the software offers you so many options that for someone who is not so savvy with app (like me), it is definitely not helpful. How about offering a an option, "choose the app you want to unsinstall/delete" and the click on Uninstall/delete. and presto! They could also offer an "Advance" button....

VLM This software is the best in its class. Gunderic Hagen, IMO the software does just what you suggest. Whenever I wish to uninstall a product "the easy way", I just right-click on it and select "Uninstall". Revo does most of the rest, asking me only to look at registry entries and certain files, that may be shared files, before I approve their specific removal. And frankly, that's just the smart thing to do.

Regarding that one product, did you try reinstalling it using Revo's installation wrapper, then uninstalling from the log file directly? It's a bit more complex, but only a bit. Worked for me the one and ONLY time "easy Revo" couldn't fully install an application. Support should be able to guide you through this, as they did me.

Tsvetan Marinkinski Hi Kelly, it depends on which type of the "view" mode of the list of installed programs you are using. The default is "Icons", in that case you can see the installation date of a program on the tooltip shown when you move the mouse over the icon of the program in the list, or in case you are using "Details" view mode there is a column in the grid that shows the installation date for every program. To switch to "Details" view mode just click on the "View" button on the main toolbar and select "Details"

Jim Buchanan Although I'm not getting the deal today because of $ issues right now, I thought I'd mention that Revo Uninstaller does its job efficiently.

On the downside I just have to warn people to read the instructions. After that you should read them again. Why? Because when you want to uninstall, it uninstalls

I've had one problem with Revo Uninstaller and that was because I didn't read what was needed by the software being installed. It needed a password and of course Revo Uninstaller didn't have it. Completely my fault and it got fixed very quickly.

Tsvetan Marinkinski @Roger Osborne You can use the Forced Uninstall feature to scan for remnants of specific program by entering the program's name or the path to known leftovers. Option to scan for all remnants from all previously uninstalled programs is not available in Revo Uninstaller Pro.

Admin permission are required in order for Revo Uninstaller Pro to be started and used. Generally speaking you should be able to uninstall the program in question, but we are not sure what is the exact problem that you are experiencing. Not to see anymore updates to for us in 3.3, 3.4, 3.5 even a 3.9 put out to us.
No you'd rather jump on board the greedy wagon and have gone to a subscription based model business now.

I might consider a one time charge of $5. to $10 on me to have my version 3 lifetime license updated for all minor / major updates of version 4.
I will not help support your subscription based model business now or ever.

We'll have see in 3-5 years what color the business is in (Red or Black).
Makes more since to move to a Linux system as more applications devs fill that wagon with you...

We believe that this model suits better the way we want to develop Revo Uninstaller Pro in the future. This will allow us to release new version more often compared to version 3. This means that new features and improvements will be added frequently
At the moment we are not offering the option for a license that will cover all future versions of Revo Uninstaller Pro 4.

Constantin Florea @Dennis McKay, You still have 2 years upgrades. Our system sends the license policy (from The Fine Print tab), for all items ordered during a promotion, but the license policy only applies to the first purchase item.

So you have a Lifetime license with 2 years upgrades.

Technically , you would need one license per computer, not per operating system.
Revo Uninstaller Pro could construed the two operating systems as separate even though they are installed on the same computer. If you need to use dual-boot systems, please contact us at [email protected] so that we can make the necessary adjustments to your licenses.

So I thought a lifetime license would give me all future updates for free. I noticed today that my updates expired on 12/11/2023. So if I have to now pay for updates, what is the real meaning of your "Lifetime License"?
