If you want a quick chocolate pouring sauce for desserts like ice cream or pancakes, Edd Kimber can show you how to whip one up with only 3 ingredients.

Be careful not to overheat the cream to boiling. It isn't necessary in order to melt the chocolate, having it quite hot is fine. If the cream is too hot, the chocolate may seize and split. Then you'd really have to start again, so take care.
