What is Track3? It is a volunteer-based charity enabling kids and youth with disabilities to discover their confidence, develop their talents and achieve their physical potential through the freedom of snow sports. It’s also about having fun!

"My wife Charon and I have been volunteering with Track3 for over a decade now and we can attest to how rewarding this program is for athletes and volunteers alike," said Doug Varty of Oro-Medonte Township.

"We love skiing and we wanted to share that love with the disabled youth in our community. Neither of us are expert skiers, had ski instructor training or experience working with disabled athletes prior to joining the T3 team (training is provided)," Varty explained.

Track3 is driven by over 250 volunteers across the province and is actively recruiting for the 2024 season.

Join us this winter at Mt. St Louis Moonstone or other hills across Ontario where we operate.

Volunteers are key to getting the athletes on the hills as we typically have 2 volunteer instructors per athlete. This is also a great way for students 14 years of age or older to get their community hours.

The programs at MLSM operates both Saturday and Sunday mornings. If interested, please go to www.track3.org for more information or registration.

"I would be remiss if I did not give a big shout out and thank you to the owners of MSLM, the Huter family, for their amazing ongoing support of Track3," said Varty.
