Hiked 7:15 am on 5/7. Had to “create” a parking spot on the shoulder because it was already packed. Great hike. Not too challenging. Great morning views! A fine final hike before exiting Zion. What a cool place.

Great easy hike into the beginning of the Narrows. At the time of this review, the Narrows themselves are closed, so this is the only way to check them out via this paved overlook trail. We took the shuttle all the way to the last stop at the start of our day, and then worked our way back to the visitor center throughout the day while knocking out other hikes. Earlier in the day, this hike was very pleasant and shaded, and not yet so crowded with people. Great views, reminded us of Santa Elena Canyon in Big Bend, just even more green!
