Hierdie week het Plaas TV weereens vir interessante kykstof gesorg en vandag is #kykweervrydag. Hier is ’n opsomming van dié week se episodes:
- Die Veeplaas Klimaatslim Ambassadeur-projek het ten doel om veeprodusente te identifiseer wat klimaatslim boerderypraktyke op hul plase implementeer en wat passievol is oor die bewaring van hul omgewing en hulpbronne. Plaas TV het by Piet Roux van die Prieska-omgewing gaan aanklop om te sien hoe hy dié bestuurspraktyke toepas. Bly ingeskakel om te kyk hoekom hy met dié titel weggestap het.
- The Animal Feed Manufacturers Association of South Africa (AFMA) is the official industry representative body of the South African feed industry in the livestock feed sector. The most prestigious event on the AFMA calendar is the AFMA Forum. It is one of the largest animal feed industry events on the African continent, and takes place every three years. - Die tweede Veeplaas Klimaatslim-boeredag vind binnekort plaas in die Prieska-omgewing. Dr Louis du Pisani brei nou hieroor uit in dié aflewering van Plaas TV.
- The Agbiz Grain and Oilseeds Value Chain Symposium was held as a hybrid event in Pretoria recently. The aim was to explore various issues and opportunities for the grain storage industry in South Africa. The symposium consisted of four sessions, each covering a different theme related to the profitability, traceability and risk management of the grain and oilseeds sector. Plaas TV also attended the event to share some insight on this.
- The second discussion during the recent Grain & Oilseeds Value Chain Symposium addressed future challenges, specifically access to stock and price convergence. Plaas Media’s Susan Marais discussed these issues with Jerry Maritz and Dr André van der Vyver.
- The application of traceability and regulatory compliance in grain storage were some of the issues put in the spotlight during the third session at the recent Grain & Oilseeds Value Chain Symposium. Jannie de Villiers and Casper Schmidt joined Lise Roberts to elaborate on this.
- The fourth and final session of the Grain & Oilseeds Value Chain Symposium focused on the insurability of the storage sector. Lise Roberts discussed some of the highlights with panellist, Gerard Ramage and facilitator, Kobus Truter.
- Pak elke taak met gemak aan. Of dit nou tuinwerk, konstruksie of landbou is – ‘n Kubota-trekker het die krag om die taak gedoen te kry. Plaas TV het Kubota by Nampo Kaap ontmoet om uit te vind wat in hierdie veelsydige handelsmerk steek.
