Respite Care

Respite provides short-term care and supervision for the child to provide relief for the parents or caregivers. It may take place in the child’s home or in the community.

 

Who Receives Respite?

Children of all ages can typically receive respite.  Some young adults may also qualify.

Acadia Care Group strives to provide high quality respite care providers so that families feel comfortable leaving their child in the care of another person.

Respite Care

Respite Care provides caregivers a certified, trusted service provider that will allow them to take a break from the daily challenges, and emotional demands, of caring for their loved one with a Developmental Disability. 

Attendant Care

Attendant Care Services assists the client with personal care tasks they may not be able to perform themselves, such as bathing, feeding, grooming, etc.

Habilitation Care

Habilitation Care Services are for individuals based on the Individualized Support Plan and can include habilitative therapies, special developmental skills and sensory motor development.

Acadia Care Group is contracted by DDD (Division of Developmental Disabilities) to provide Attendant Care Services, Habilitation Care Services, Respite Care Services and Individually Designed Living Arrangements (IDLA)
